I have ignored about 10 posters. It has eliminated about 99% of the negative bullshit on this forum.

    True story.

I am sorry you had a bad Tacoma. You certainly are not alone. Yes I am ornery. Yes I am old. And on occasion I am an azz. I count my blessings mine has been a good truck. Not excellent but a good truck. Even though mine is good I know the engine and transmission are not up to the standards of Toyota. If I had some of the major issues that others had I would have moved on. Fortunately the updates have resolved my minor transmission issues. I have, perhaps blind, faith that they will eventually fix this once and for all. The power band is way too narrow for the displacement which I blame on the Atkinson cycle. Then again that is the reason my mpg range is so high. Everything is a trade off. I sold 2 great trucks to buy my 3rd gen. Had a 2008 Prerunner and a 2014 F150. Neither were good on gas. Both had plenty of torque and horsepower. The V8 Ford sucked fuel like a demon. I had my periods of doubt and actually started pricing a 2017 F150 3.5 liter. Then most of my issues were resolved. Been a happy camper the past year. Good luck with the GMC. Nothing wrong with being happy with what you are paying for. At the moment I am happy with my Tacoma.

I prefer the front end looks and wheel wells of the Sierra over the Silverado; a little more rounded vs. the square angles of the silverado. Also, the GMC dealer was giving me a much better trade value and deal on the SLT than what I could get from the Chevy store. Wanted the All Terrain, but settled for the gaudy chrome-clad premium plus package.

Oh, and we all know the ridgeline is a chopped minivan with a tub for a bed, not a truck.

Just like the one I posted on here that was at the dealer. Except for the bumper. Wheels look great with that color.

Reminds me too much of deployment and humvee/mrab wheels in desert sand color. Not for me, but unique.

With a little bigger tires and some armor would look the way mesojdm"s looks great. I like the military look.

Been surrounded by it for the last 8 years, (23 months left but who's counting), would rather not bring it home. But everyone is different.

Didn't see much military vehicles. Lucky I guess. I mostly just saw ships and our jets..and all those bombs we had to load...lol
