    There was a guy who chopped his cover and made it work with the rack. It was also a roll up cover. Other than that I haven't seen it. And honestly I don't like the high position. Lower just seems better all around for me. And going 80 I got 14.3 mpg on my way down to Denver from the mountains.

    what mpg do you normally get on the freeway? curious because i'm headed round trip from socal to seattle in a few weeks...
    wonder if rci would take it back for a small ding$ ??

    My last trip I averaged 24 so I took a huge hit. I had my rotopax and my treds on the rack too. My truck does better under 65 but it was still way worse than normal. Wasn't a real fan of the way it felt with the weight high up either. Bars should save me about 50 lbs too

    wow...that is a big mpg hit, but better than airplane tickets for us...

    I was running it a little harder than normal but I haven't had better than 18 with the tent. I took a trip last weekend too.

    well that's a cool mpg feature! don't have it on my 2015 base model...
