Not doubting your experience, but I am reading the literature that came with my TC uppers and they suggest Tri-Flow for the uppers if they start making a lot of noise. ???

The best is when the MF* union sends me political fliers telling me how to vote. Almost always against my political leanings.

Fkers take my money and give it to terrible politicians.

Also I like going to our union lunches because our rep is such an idiot. Easily flustered because nobody else cares enough to question what he's doing.

    I vote against almost everything.

    Right to work!

Looks good man where are ya rubbing at? If on the cab mount your only option is getting more positive caster as the cab mount chop is to the bushing literally can go back any further

    Check out the build
This was on my camburgs. They wore prematurely and I first I didn't know why but after researching the triflow still allowed dirt to get trapped in and wear the liner.

After not using the lube on the next pare of arms DK and then my current TC's. They have already outlived my the life of the Camburgs is lubed. If water doesn't clear the squeaking then check them for wear since they may be shot.

This is exactly that. There's two of us out of 4 that are younger guys that are motivated and want to actually get our unit into good shape and keep stuff clean. The other 2 are lazy POS's. One guy basically should have retired about 5 years ago and just steals whatever isn't bolted down. I've literally watched him make a coffee, drip coffee from the kitchen all the way to his desk and just laugh about it. Nice enough guy, but his philosophy is "better you than me!" anytime ANYTHING has to be done. Shit like that makes me irate.

    Not really.

In the beginning (and to some degree today too), workers had no leverage. Unions gave them leverage and helped workers get things like benefits, retirement, and better working conditions. Government regulation goes a lot farther than it did but still doesn't approach the benefits of union membership. Members can strike for more whatever and it's written into a contract. As an individual, I can stand out front and protest and end up unemployed with little or no recourse. In modern sports, CBAs give athletes minimum salaries and retirement benefits, and so forth-without that, only the stars would be making gobs of money. And while the typical player doesn't make millions, they do receive a decent salary they might not otherwise.
For members of some trade unions, training is provided through their apprenticeship program (some better than others). If you go to one of the automotive trade schools, you're gonna be out some real money and when you graduate, you will still enter your career as an apprentice.

Anyway, my point is government regulation, while nice, isn't the equivalent of a union contract.

My only real complaint is unions can impact innovation. They can also negatively impact businesses by imposing rules that affect the company's ability to compete in markets.

Someone said unions ruined American automotive companies. I believe they played a large part but I also believe it'd have been more of a sweatshop if they hadn't had representation. Looking forward, NC and SC run successful auto mfg facilities without union representation and by all accounts, the work force is better off-but then they also treat workers better and make them part of the process as well.

All that and you can effectively argue unions should have a place at the table where it makes sense.

Ok have a electrical question. Wife called this morning to tell me the 220 breaker tripped for the dryer. So I told her to reset it. Well tonight it tripped again. When I went to reset it the breaker was hella hot. Is my breaker going bad or could it be something causing the dryer to draw too much?

Edit: maytag smart dryer. 2 years old

When I lubed them it was that often at first, then more often as they squeaked, sometimes once a day in the summer. I came to find out I was lubing more often as the inner liner wore out. By the time I replaced them the entire liner was gone on both sides and the squeaking was the ball and cup rubbing against each other. They got to this point in about 25K miles.

I don't lube anymore. I sold my DK's to @Overlanerd with the same amount of miles and they were completely fine and not loose. Same goes with my current TC's.

Unplug the dryer and kick the breaker on if it kicks that will eliminate the dryer and lead us to step two

It doesn't trip right away. It'll run for 15-20 mins then it trips. Wife just told me the dryer wasn't getting hot this weekend then it started working. Kinda leads me to think it's the dryer but :notsure:

Oh and to follow up on my random weekend sickness we are now theorizing spider bite lol. Symptoms match a black widow bite and my leg was in and out of cristy boxes at work all day Friday. Felt good enough to go to work today but watching this pretty closely been keeping it elevated and all the other home stuff to do
