    2011 S/C and basic mods
    Heardnof people putting a panty hose over it or a secondary filter. But I just ran mine open for a while. Checked r after driving in heavy rain, sand, rocks and never had an issue. Just check it periodically. Now I'm running a cold air that sticks in front of the radiator so not a problem anymore.

    Huh, it just seems like so much dust would be kicked up by the tire RIGHT into the intake..I dont know if its really that big of a deal or not but it just doesn't seem like a good idea.
