    Late to the party, but you should have just ditched the brake dust shields. They only hold rocks and make the squealies when you're off road. I've driven several vehicles without them and noticed no degradation. Truck is looking really good, we need another mid TN get together soon.

    I thought about it, but chose not to because I read it would be hard on the brakes. Honestly, after seeing how much shit was caked in my old brakes it seems they only hold things in, especially somewhere like lbl that's full of mud holes. Still plenty of time left to remove them.

    That sounds great, but you're going to have to be in middle TN for more than 5 minutes first though.

    Decided I liked the scangauge where I had it after all. So I fished the cable through the steering column.


    Need to use a gps to set the speedometer function. I'm pretty sure doing it by percentage of tire size increase is not giving an accurate reading.

    What do you mean by distance calibration?

    The SG has a percentage function for adjusting the speedometer. I currently have it set on +17% because 255/85/16 is 16.9% larger in diameter than the stock 225/75/15.

    Almost positive the SG is reading too fast. Generally, when driving 80 on the interstate here you are passing the majority of the traffic. Diving at 80 by the SG, I'm getting passed by lots of cars.

    Maybe the speedo was slow from the factory.


    Chacos are super comfy. Plus, they provide your friends with something to laugh at. Ha ha.
