Just curious what's your weekly budget for food? Do you prep? What's some of the foods you can eat multiple times in a week ?

Not to be a hardo but I'm up for work at 2:30 or 3:30am and still find a way to scramble 3 eggs, make my coffee, and yogurt with granola.

    All about priorities ^

My wife luckily cracks my eggs and separates them for me nightly otherwise I'd just buy liquid egg whites. And then 1:45 for a cup of oats in the microwave super quick and efficient and my coffee is on a timer kicks on at 5:00 am and by the time I get from the bed, to the bathroom, to the kitchen the first cup is done.

Im up for work at 3:30AM aswell. I cant seem to make time to make breakfast in the morning as I work ~80 a week and I need my 4 hours of sleep or I will be miserable. I usually have egg whites, bell peppers and potatoes in the morning but I meal prep that aswell so I just need to nuke it. Surprisingly eggs reheated aren't too bad

I need a coffee maker with a timer... I use a French press so unless I spend a few hundred on an espresso machine I don't think its feasible. Anyone try the Nespresso machine?

I feel like spinach would go bad if you sautéed it. I use to just wash the spinach leafs in the morning and put it on top the morning of... but I don't like sautéed spinach so I prefer to eat it raw

Its really difficult but its just my situation at the moment. I work in IT so unfortunately I have a large workload, typically work 5AM-11PM mon-fri. Hoping this will change soon though

EDIT: The worst part is too that ever since I started this work schedule I can sometime be sore after workouts for days at a time due to me not getting the muscle recovery I need

I'm currently transitioning to IT myself. I start a new job in 2 weeks. The hours aren't bad right now though. I hope it doesn't get worse as I progress :(

Just don't over extend yourself. By no means will it get to the extent of my schedule unless you have two jobs. Im currently looking for a new job that will supplement both so I can enjoy life again

They have one thing in common: they're both a waste of money

Is that the same guy from a few days ago who said he guessed on his calories and macros and "knew" they were spot-on?

If he's like me, it's can't. I have never been a morning person and never will be. I'm up at 7:30 and at work at 8. To make up for my lack of morningness, I make all my breakfast food for the day the night before. I also try to stick to foods that don't need much prep. Breakfast right now for me is 6 oz egg whites that I cook the night before, an apple, and a Greek yogurt. I've accepted that I'm not a morning person, but I'm thinking that's gonna change in Jan :spy:

6 hours of sleep are you kidding me? This is me if I get less than 7 hours

50-75 a week. Maybe a little more. I haven't prepped recently but I have before.
I've tried waking up earlier, but then I just crash during half way through the day at work and can't focus and get nothing done

This. The only time I can function on less than 7 hrs of sleep is if I had to get up early to go hiking/biking/snowboarding or something. Otherwise, I need to load up on coffee.
