That sucks. At least they didnt hit the cab that could have been alot worse.

Glad you are okay-
and it looks like your rig didn't get too banged up (coulda been a TON worse if'n it was a foot forward or backward. Let us know what the final result is.

Glad you and your truck didn't take on too much damage. How did it happen? Kind of awkward spot to get hit.

 

It was a 2 lane right turn, the guy in the far right was from out of town and didnt know that the both lanes turned right onto a one way street, so he kept going straight as i turned... so he hit me at an angle.

 

looks like about 2k of damage. i'm amazed at how many drivers don't look at the street markings or signs to understnad traffic flow. i've almost taken it on the chin a couple of times making turns like that.

Consider yourself extremely lucky he didn't hit you further up in the cab. I had my first accident last fall too. Guy hit me in the door/cab corner, then bed shoving me sideways into a curb. Wheel/axle met curb, buh-bye axle. A foot forward and your damage total would/could have been 10k higher. That is maybe 2k in damage, mine was 12k.

 

Sorry to hear but glad your ok.

I put a small baseball size dent in the same location and it cost me 2k. Hopefully insurance will take care of it

Sorry your truck got hit.

I saw a Tundra get hit today in a parking structure, by some 65 year old guy. Old guy got out checked his car, got back in and drove away. I took down his plate, car description, his description, and wrote it down for the non-present driver of Tundra.

I don't know what the hell is wrong with people that makes them think they and f-up other peoples property and drive away.
