should depend on how long you are running it. Slime doesn't post duty cycles on their website but the one I have (Power Sport) says it will air up tires in 10 minutes. I think my most intensive use will be washing bikes after cyclocross races. Even with that I am not leaving the water going for the whole 10 minutes so it will catch up. And all the pump has to do is fill the space left as you use the water - not pressurize the whole thing over and over as you use it.

    One way to find out...

looking on the tractor & supply tank I found the manual and it list the pump as a replacement part! Actually cheaper than the price of the group buy on demand pump.

If you use that pump on your tank you will run out of water in approx 4 mins

4 mins of continuous use, but that would depend on the spray nozzle setting i'm using as well right?

I believe it would vary on the nozzle setting.Right it would be 4 mins of continuous use

I'm on the FIMCO site and their lowest volume pump is 1GPM, it's pressure activated and looks to be the ticket.
the nuts shipped with the bracket are galvanized, I may switch to nylock nut to slow down would-be water tank thieves

Looks like you got yourself a technical, mounted 90mm potato cannon. That's what's up.

I honestly thought that's how most people were doing it. But I think you should go the OBA route anyway. It sounds like a fun project, and you can use OBA for so many other purposes.

    Subb'd for shenanigans!

One flaw in this plan: black tube = hot booze

Better plan: white tube = inconspicuous keg :drunk:

There was a guy at one of the bike races last year using a similar tank. He had to keep stopping to pressurize it with his bike pump. Looked like way too much work.

Wonder what his duty cycle was.

    3.5 gallons.

@Benzdriver81 @scottalot someone else mentioned building another tank on the other side of the truck to equalize the load/traction...and then i thought put booze like margarita mix LOL

Yah, that's what I'm thinking, but more and more that I look, that on-demand pressure actuate pump from FIMCO does look to fit the bill, connect to switch power in the bed and it works as a standalone water delivery system.
