Yeah been kinda busy the past month or so should be back to cruise control for a while now.

I bought a YAAO. What's a YAAO you ask? It's pretty much a ripoff of the CVT 3 person sized tent. My research showed it uses the same parts, likely built in the same factory, with a few things downgraded like velcro instead of zippers on the rain cover. I plan to upgrade that when I can.

But the metal/aluminum, ladder, canvas, and waterproofing are all the same parts, and completely interchangeable with replacement parts from CVT.

Lee, my Smittybilt cover also uses velcro. I actually prefer that as zippers tend to break/fail and the velcro is much easier to maintain and replace. I have yet to have any problems with mine.

 

Cool deal, if it loses it's grip over time that can be managed. Glad to know it's been good.
