Another popular option is to take index cards, and place them in the rim of the wheel, creating a wall. I wasn't worried though since I'm painting a satin black anyways. Any other color and I'd block it off.

In between coats I decided to change the air filter on my Subaru. That was super exciting.

Exactly! Although after buying this car used, I learned I need to inspect cars a lot more thoroughly. I'll post pics later of what I'm talking about.

It is always good to inspect it for sure! Even if it comes from a dealer. I didn't really inspect mine when I bought it and lucky me nothing wrong except a check engine light after a few miles. It was the O2 sensor and I got it changed on the 30days warranty .

Now i am waiting for your story!

Nothing too terribly exciting. So my car has a 4 cylinder 2.5 boxer engine, but there's a 6 cylinder 3.6 available that has a dual exhaust. Subaru uses the same rear bumper, but on mine there's just a painted plastic piece on the passenger side to fill the dual exhaust hole. The PO had the shittiest of hack jobs to add a dual exhaust. Completely skipped putting a muffler there, and the work was terrible. Ended up making it right with a new OEM midpipe. There were also a hell of a lot of minor dents and dings I didn't notice until the first clay and wax, and the front grill was cracked in a few places. Nothing that would have prevented me from buying the car, but a negotiation point.

DAMN. That's pretty bad. Is it because you're waiting on payday, or you're too lazy to go shopping?
