I used loctite red, the dealership said they are going to look into the service stuff. (I guess they take pictures during service)

I did not retorque after 100 miles. Probably should have checked, but again nothing felt weird until after I got the truck back from the dealership and went on my short trip. You would think this issue would have happened during the 1500 other miles that were driven.

On a side note the 2011-2017 CV axles are the same (confirmed by Toyota parts)

Also the CV Clamp cost $42, but the entire boot rebuild kit for both boots costs $48

Shop is replacing the CV Axle for $300 including parts and labor. Will post pics of the broken Axle when I recover the truck this evening.

Something doesn't add up. The LCA nut is held in by a clip so the nut wouldn't just come out unless it was complete failure and separated. Its impossible for the spindle not to separate if the bolt was missing. Also why did you remove the lower control arm to install coilovers?

It's not the nut that connects the ball joint, it was the piece that connects the ball joint to the spindle that had the 2 bolts that fell out. If you check out the pictures earlier in the thread you can see the missing bolt, and the ball joint but is still there.

See how this assembly has bearings over the knuckles. I'm missing all of those.

How many miles? My pro has a ripped drivers side boot at 17k miles. No offroading, factory everything... Toyota is covering it, but they had to order parts.
