    Those things strip and break every day. Piss poor design. They always come in broken or stripped.
    We don't fix em for free. We let them know so next time they can plan to wait a while.

    The first thing I did when I bought the Tacoma was pull skid plates and brake pins. Add grease and reinstall.

    Years ago while working as a Diesel mechanic I had a 2002 Freightliner M2 come in with a complaint of a soft brake pedal . After a few min of diagnostic work found out the source of the soft pedal was no front brake rotors !!!

    The rotors were so worn down that that imploded and the only thing resembling the front brake rotors was the wheel hub . The rotors and pads where completely missing and the Caliper pistons were so worn down they needed replacing

    This truck was hard to get back into the dealer for service as it was running 24/7 4 x's a day from Socal to Fresno . They never did pre trip inspections and only waited until the 90 day BIT inspection was due . This truck also had a LOFR 4x's per month that's how many miles they put on it . The LOFR schedule was at 11,500 ea time
