It means how much wider the track width is. A 2" over LT kit would put each front wheel 2" further out than where it's positioned now, a 3.5" over kit would be 3.5" further resulting in a 7" wider track width overall. It has to do with the longer upper and lower control arms which is what's providing the better travel numbers.

It's tough to say on whether or not it's long travel or mid travel, and depends who you ask. Some consider it mid travel because you're only getting a few inches of extra travel, and some call it long travel because you have longer UCAs and LCAs. Either way it's a cool option to have.

Mid travel is good for most stuff. Long travel requires a LOT of maintenance and money if you go all out. As Danny said below we both have mid travel setups and we handle most stuff great. The only thing I can't do in mine is haul ass over deep whoops. But like he said we both were going down a fire road like road at a constant 70 and it was like floating on clouds. If you're making it to the hat meet tonight I will probably end up making it. Going to leave work now. You can check out my truck. I don't have the most advance setup but it's pretty much all high end stuff. I skipped on a few things but we can talk

Or you can look at my truck to see how stupid you can get with a MT setup.

Ya you can also do that. This old fuck has probably the most MT setup you can have before going LT. But he has a RTT now so he can't go fast anymore :boink:

I thought the whole point of TW is to make our trucks as ridiculous and impractical as possible? :notsure:

Working is still a good idea regardless of savings ... fasted way to death is to sit around and do nothing.

@ItsRichieRich maggot61 is a 2wd, the reason he can run the 3.5 inch spindle in the front.
