3rd gen are only offered in double cab short box or access cab for the manual.

Toyota has never offered a double cab long box manual.

Cold_Toad is right. Toyota has never offered the double cab long box with a manual. Even in Canada.

The Canadians get the trd off road in access cab, which we don't, as well as the limited in DCLB. At least this is what I gathered from a few other threads.

I got in touch with the Toyota dealer up in Whitehorse Canada. They offer the same configurations that we have down in the states. They currently do not make a long bed double cab with a manual transmission.

So now my next question… What do people do with a 5 foot bed?

Quite a few things actually. Considering the weather we had this past weekend I almost turned it into a pool.

    Uh-oh...

My clutch pedal has started creeking... like at the very end of Michael Jackson's Thiller, that squeaking door sound. It's only when I come off the clutch slow.

I'm thinking it's the spring that brings the pedal back.

    Anybody else have this?

Go on...not sure if my clutch is squeaking per say but it definitely is stiff and makes a noise when I have to feather it.

yep squeaky clutch here too on hot days. That doesn't bother me, but the clunky shift from 1-2 and 2-3 does. Now if I could only find a way to get rid of that.

    Mostly stuff I built.
That fix is pretty easy... Trans mount and some polyurethane. Pick up a spare mount to do the urethane on. I like to rough them up really well with a file wherever the urethane will touch metal. Trim all the mold seams on the existing rubber on the mount and rough the rubber up with heavy sand paper. It takes about a week for the stuff to cure so the spare mount is a almost a must.

Interesting. First time I've heard of doing that. I'll have to check it out. I appreciate it.

Only problem with this is once that wears out, now you get to have fun scraping out that glued in poly instead of just swapping out some bushings lol
