Drink 2 protein shakes usually a day, and drink plenty of beer haha. I'm not trying to focus too hard on counting food stuff but I'd like to at least know I'm hitting my daily calorie intake. That way I know how much I need to be eating to gain the weight I'm looking for.

Any of you all have an instapot? It has become a staple in our kitchen over the last few months.

My wife found a recipe for some red potatoes and make it the other night 5 min under pressure and done. So good...... I highly suggest getting one of you prep or even if you just need something done quick.

My sweet potatoes are done in 10 min. Rice about 10-12. All kinds of stuff.

So.....like he asked, are you handicapped or lazy as hell? :stirthepot:

    that's called getting fat

Ya, I don't see how stopping working out is going to solve any problems :notsure:...not sure about the logic behind that.

I love toying with new plans. I use MFP and the first thing I do (besides setting goal numbers) is put in the foods I KNOW I want to eat. After that, divide the amount of protein you need by how many meals you want to eat and then start adding food to meet those protein needs first. After that, fill the rest with carbs and fat. Lastly, fine tune by deleting and adding foods to hit your micronutrients. I'll make you a diet if you want...

....for the low cost of 10 easy payments of $99.99

    U mean poptarts?

Don't listen to pencil neck...counting calories is how you don't get fat.

Then gives shitty advice like this v

But yea, you're right. I know nothing about gaining or losing weight, obviously. Because I didn't gain 22 lbs between August and March

We can't all be Billy Bad Ass at everything like you, I guess.

I mean, if you just want to get big and don't care about your health or aesthetics at all. Also, go out and buy a TapOut shirt to go with that beer belly.

    You funny

But yea that's the way Im moving. Just don't enjoy the trial and error part of the process. Rather just have it dialed in so I have something concrete to follow.

If you know what you like, it only takes an hour or so to do. After I get my protein portioned out per meal, the rest is easy. Just plug in carbs and fat to go with each meal. Start out with trying to add at least 1 vegetable or fruit per meal and then once you've done that, add shit that you actually enjoy.

For instance, I'm beginning my bulk Aug 7. My diet is 3540 calories, 260 g protein, 375 g carbs, and 120 g fat (micros are 46 g fiber, 3310 mg sodium, 5000 mg potassium, and all percentages on vitamins and minerals well above what's recommended):

    1. 5 eggs w/ shredded cheese and ketchup, apple, Greek yogurt, apple cinnamon oatmeal, 8 oz. skim milk

    2. 6 oz chicken tenders w/ bbq sauce, 8 oz. low sodium V8, kidney beans

    3. whole wheat spaghetti with 4 oz 93/7 turkey, Parmesan cheese, and olive oil, almonds, 8 oz. pomegranate juice

    4. (post-workout) 2 scoops protein, 1 cup frozen mixed berries, 1 banana, 1/2 avocado, 16 oz skim milk

    4. 6 oz chicken tenders w/ brown rice, broccoli, and low sodium cream of mushroom, 8 oz low sodium v8

    6. (pre-bed) 2 cheese sticks, 1 cup chocolate milk

    V8 is his veggies.

About to jump on the bulk sups train when my current pre runs out. Caffeine, beta, and creatine. Anyone else have anything they would add?
