Ok last bitch fest and then I'm done on the subject-

Older guy, our instrumentation tech. Daily routine, come over to my unit at like 7AM, park his truck where it can't be seen on the road, sleep until like 930, but propped up with paperwork on the steering wheel. Comes in and say he's gonna work on something, asks if he needed to call our control board..."Yes, Ben, for the 1000th time, you have to notify the board when you take a meter out of service"...sits down at our other desk, calls the board, then falls asleep for 45 minutes. Then finally gets up and goes "I guess I'll do just one and then go to lunch". And half the time he just leaves the shit out of service for the day and we have no idea what our PH is coming out, so I've gotta go run out every 20 minutes and pull a sample. After lunch is pretty much the same routine for him until 330 when he's supposed to be off, but then he'll pull another probe out at like 330 and put in for an hour of OT. Every. Day. But he's in the union hall every weekend fighting every damn thing the company does, so the company basically let's guys like that stay here and hope they retire soon because they know the union will protect them.

Ok I'm done. Just had to sit through him snoring for the last 45 minutes. And he's old so even when I'm like "Ben. Ben. Ben. BEN. BEN. BEN! BEN!" he just sleeps through it and I finally just go outside to get away from him

Yeah, just sneak up on him and take a picture while he's sleeping in his truck. Send it out in a company wide email.

Lol sneak up. I've literally just walked up to the truck before and taken a few photos, but I'm not gonna dime him out for no reason. I have woken him up a few times when he took our stuff out of service and then went and passed out, because then he's on my time. As far as showing up and going to sleep, if anyone asks, I thought he was doing paperwork, not my fault he fell asleep in the parking lot lol. I ain't no snitch. Just wanted to rant for a minute. I'm over it lol
