    Only because I grew up in LB and I'm pretty sure there is no off-road areas that close. So seeing an active taco community was surprising to be.

    Ahhh, some may live there, but have to travel a bit to get to the trails. So that's how we get everyone in here. From Santa Clarita valley all the way to SD and out passed palm springs.

    Well I'm from LB but I built my truck out in HI, and I'll be in the LB area for a couple days early Aug prepping for a cross country road trip. Great TW fam in HI so I thought I'd poke around and see if there was more taco fam at home and bam!

    Big bear, santiago canyon, rowher, azusa only on the weekends, idyllwild, Joshua tree, gorman lots of places. It all depends on when you leave. Before 5am and pretty much have to come home after 10. Sundays are usually light traffic day. All other days suck between 8 am and 9pm

    I've seen the OHV signs near Azusa, and seen a few vehicles off-road near the dry riverbed area. Might go check that place out. You know if I'll need any permit to access it?

    Not that I am aware of. I believe they only let 4wd in. Admission or fee at the gate/staging area. I have never been.... 2wd life.:ballchain::pout:
