Those certainly look nice. Do I need to worry about any alignment issues or drive shaft issues with that small of a lift? I'm new to modifying suspensions, and a little hesitant.

With all the stuff you have in the back and plan to in the future you shouldn't have any worries going with the hd Dakar pack.

Get the driveshaft/carrier bearing spacer with it also it'll help keep geometry angles of driveshaft also

If you're hauling a good amount of weight full-time in the bed, consider the AllPro Expedition leaf packs. They're pricey but they allow you to have something heavy (300+lbs) in the bed full-time, and will have more flex angle than the Dakars or AAL packs.

*Edit: the 2.0s are also a good choice

The coolest bit is the lot slopes down hill towards a creek in the back and they tucked an insulated garage door into the unfinished portion of the walk out basement (where we keep the trailer, etc. ). A basement garage door made moving a breeze. Lol. Here's some pics of their garage and toys. My stepdad has a bigger budget for vehicles than me.

I want to marry your stepdad!

Whenever I go to MO/NC, I see similar type of garage/houses. Amazing what you can get for your $$$, when you move away from the west and north east :(

65 Impala, my stepdad is rebuilding his 67 Chevelle from the block up right now. That's become a fun build to follow as he sends me updates of the new pistons going in and such. Most of my family enjoys cars.

Sounds awesome! I wish my family was more into cars. Seems like i'm one of the only people in mine that get into it..

Do you have any info on those roof rack crossbars, or are they just something AT makes themselves? I think I've got the same mounting tracks ( L-Track? ) on my camper and looking to buy/build some crossbars.

    In for a Classic-Chevy-Lovin'-Tacoma-Owner-Build!

Currently have a '66 Chevy II (owned for about 17 years) and a 2010 TRD Sport DCLB.

Planning on a TRD Pro (Cement - MT) in late 2018. :fingerscrossed:

Nice looking truck! Looking forward to seeing the build progress!

Yep. A house like that in my area is probably around 1.5 mill. A 1200 sq/ft ramber is around 600k and this isn't even in the city.

This pales in comparison to SF though. Friend of mine just bought a 2 bedroom condo in SF for 1.1, not even a luxury one. Ugh.

Just curious did you get AT to paint your habitat for you to match your truck? I'm definitely jealous of that topper and hope to get one soon!

Yeah lived in SF before, know the deal.

For me here, its 1100-1275 a sq/feet. All Asian $.

Agreed. The cost of living in some places is excessive.

AT overland painted the Habitat to match. They requested a picture of the Vin and Paint code off of the truck to be sure that it matched well. The painting takes a little more time in the build process and comes at a cost, but it certainly was worth it for me. It really helps keep the truck looking sharp. I couldn't be happier with the quality of the Habitat all around.

It's L- track, pretty impressed with the versatility of the stuff. It may be excessive to be honest. As for the cross braces, they are unique to AT to my knowledge, but I'll get some pics and a material list for you.
