Absolutely. There is LESS of a chance of it flying if you're not using a winch blanket, but I've seen Synthetic line snap and go flying. On the flipside, I've NEVER seen a steel line snap and go flying IF you're using a winch blanket. Even when I spool my line in against a tree, I always throw my winch blanket on.

Too many people put synthetic line on, go use it without a weight, it snaps and they get hurt. Not to mention the hook is the same no matter what you're using, and that can go flying too.

 

It could but it wont do much damage, its a lot lighter than metal so it doesn't have as much momentum even though it has almost equal potential energy while stretching.

Some of those pictures are when I first got it. Doesn't look as good anymore. I learned my lesson buying a black vehicle. Never again. Even clay barred, waxed, and washed, it still doesn't look as good as I wished it did. Plus the clear coat is long gone on the roof. On top of a dent I have yet to fix on the passenger side.

 

My Taco is blue and I wish it wasn't. Shows all the scratches, dings, etc. My Jeep is yellow and I love it. I've had it up against trees and you can't even tell lol

 

I've got a massive dent in the tailgate from being totaled and the bumper is pushed out from my brother trying to pull someone out. pin stripes EVERYWHERE, I haven't tried to get rid of them as hard as you did but i know they aren't gonna come out. rust spots under the flares (kinda curious if you've got the same). My roof is fucked, my dad owned this truck before me and it was in a hail storm, instead of actually fixing the roof he just pocketed the insurance check so its got a ton of rusted spots all over the roof. So I guess Im on par, just a little worse lol

 

Nope, Fenwick was green before Kevin painted him, not sure where @Fenwick1993 has been lately.

Still working on the rebuild on the runner, next week it should be drivable and I'm excited to see how it drives with the SC.
Probably gonna sell the tacoma and keep the runner when it's running.
