what length brake lines are recommended for relocated shock mounts and 14" shocks?

Did you have a realization that if you had more droop in your suspension, that your driver side rear would have been on the ground when you were on the side of that cliff?

I know @Acerwin has the shock relocate on his truck, so he would probably know the answer.

 

thats true, might have made things worse. no, i am just putting in 11" bilsteins right now. but since i have to do the lines anyway, i want to make sure they are long enough in case i ever relocate.

Your adding 4" of shock so 4" might be good? Think that's what I have. @Acerwin will know.

 

You'll have to do some research on that. It's not simplying adding shock length. Because you are moving the mounting point up. I have the +4" on my setup now, and I plan to run 12" shocks. I believe in good with the 4" but not positive myself

 

Rear lines are too tight with stock suspension, so it needs 1 or 2 inches just to be right that way.

 

Coupons or sale? Or ....both..?

 

I'm thinking with a 12 or 14 inch shock the 6" lines should be used

 

It was a display model that looked untouched. They had two left that were both marked down to 80 bucks. Had no scratches or dents. Looks like it just came out of the box.

 

Do they still have one?! I would be willing to pick it up.

They did at lunch but I'm not sure now. I will say I did not see a set of keys with the other one. The one I bought had a set of keys attached to one of the drawers. I did not look in the drawers of the other one though so I can't say for certain whether it had a set of keys or not.
