I have to shift into drive. Move forward about 25 ft. Stop. Shift into neatural, drive backwards, and it makes it anywhere between 10-30 ft of driving back. I saw a thread on TTORA about loose lower control arms on 05s with similar sounds/symptoms but my noise sounds like its coming from the rear end of the truck or the middle, not the front suspension. I gotta check my LCAs out tomorrow.

Lytle Creek huh ? You know its closed at the end right ?

Were you guys gonna take one of the other trails that connect from Lytle Creek to Lone Pine, or Swarthout Canyon Rd ?

There is a really nice spot near the end of Lytle Creek would be cool to have a bunch of Tacos hang out and maybe throw a little bonfire and throw back some cold ones before hitting the trail towards Wrightwood..

If you guys are serious about this run count me in

We are definitely serious. Just a matter of finding a good trail. I haven't been offroading in lttle creek since I flipped my ranger a few years ago offroading there. Ruler, are there any semi hard trails or is it all just fireroads up there?

I was my first truck. I had it from 16 to 18. I was offroading in lttle creek. Finished up and was heading down a dirt road coming down the mountain. Maybe doing like 20 mph. Went around a turn and my bfg km's just lost traction. The road was like cleghorn. Mountain on one side cliff on the other. I went up the side of the mountain and rolled over onto my side landing in the road. If I would have went over the cliff I woulda been toast.

^I hope your not suggesting drinking and driving while on the trail at night? Because that's what it sounds like.
