Hey all.

I'm back from Myrtle Beach finally. We had a great time and got sunburnt pretty good.
The wife and I attended one of those timeshare seminars and ended up buying one at the Westgate resort. The starting price was $38,000 and I immediately said fuck that lets leave. The sales manager said hang on we can do better. She came back at $10,000 for the deal which isn't bad. I still said no but the wife said yes. So we bought the stupid thing. We left that day thinking about the possibilities we have for owning one, some are really good.

We get home at 3am and went to sleep shortly after. I wake up to see a text from one of my union guys. They are indeed shutting one of our paper machines down permanently on sept 30th. That eliminates 50 jobs so I'm pretty sure I can't dodge this bullet like I did last time.

Now I read through the stipulations through this money pit my wife insisted we purchase. I am lucky to see that we can cancel this timeshare shit within 5 days of signing. So now I have to deal with all of that mess.

How's everyone doing?

 

I want to change that to the name of religious group and then say "Go figure," but it would be inappropriate and insensitive.

 

But damn....
