Have a stock 09 double cab long box and I'm sick of the stock suspension. Had the rear springs replaced via recall and they are now softer than the original garbage springs.

I ordered the OMETAC05LKSB which is the complete kit with 885s. Just want to know if I need anything else to level out the front? She's stock so no heavy bumper etc. The current suspension is tired and I think the front is probably a couple of inches lower than the rear.
If I do need anything, what it is?

I know info has probably been discussed and argued a thousand times over.

    Thanks.

not sure if they're necessary with a 2" lift, but perhaps extended brake lines?

You'll be fine as is. My buddy has the same setup. Nothing else "needed" other than a bitchin set of wheels/tires.

You don't need extended brake lines. You also don't NEED UCA, but they are good for the alignment. My alignment came out great and I have stock UCA. Def order the ECGS bushing. 10 min after you drive your truck you'll be like shit.

UCA's aren't necessarily needed, neither are brake lines. Don't buy ECGS bushing or carrier bearing drop until any issues arise after lift - then you can diagnose.

Seems like many trucks are different when it comes to alignment. On stock UCAs I had a hard time getting a proper alignment on 5100s set at 1.75. Which is why I knew I NEEDED UCAs for a good alignment after I went up higher. Others have had better luck. I also ordered from headstrong

Those that say they have "good alignment numbers" on a 2in+ lift are lying to themselves. You MIGHT be able to eek out 1.5-1.7* of caster with 0 to positive camber (bad for outside tire wear). But what you really want is 3* of caster and -0.2 to -0.4 * of camber, which will be impossible to get on a stock uca at any lift height.

Also not to mention your stock UCA will likely hit the coils at droop / limit droop at the upper ball joint (not good). Do yourself a favor, grab some SPC arms and never look back.

I have that same setup but with the 886 springs since I have the ARB bumper and winch, plus IFS/Mid skids. You don't need anything extra. I was able to get mine aligned perfectly fine without UCAs and you don't need extended brake lines either. I have 255/85/16 KM2s and they rub a tiny bit at full lock, but only in reverse.

You might look into an aftermarket stereo, because your gonna wanna turn that shit up if you are getting dakars......

If your kit comes with a carrier bearing drop kit I'd also advise not to put that on unless you happen to have issues with vibes afterwards. Some trucks get the vibes, some don't. Light racing UCA's seem like a good idea too.

Also not too familiar with the OME struts but I'd doubt you need extended rear brake lines since the rear struts will probably limit your droop before the lines are in any danger.

Any stock replacement shock will not need extended brake lines.

Makes sense, I wasn't sure if the OME struts had longer travel or not though.
