LOL, you actually think that a dealer would sell something at a loss?

Sorry OP, they just sold you a bunch more senseless BS to make more money off of you. Should have just bought a Sport model to begin with.

    My 2017 wrangler doesn't have power anything either....but it's what I wanted.

Why would you buy a truck that didn't have what you wanted and then bitch at Toyota?

Also, not trying to scare you but i van only imagine what that wire job looks like.....a dealership kid just spent 7 hours monkeying with the electronics in your new truck until it finally worked

Exactly. Why buy the poverty spec truck then complain about lack of options like keyless entry?

That's totally unacceptable for them to use the wrong Lugnuts that's basic mechanics 101. Don't let these guys here get you down about buying an SR and customizing it and adding stuff, everybody does ! No matter what model you buy everybody personalizes and adds stuff. And it is stupid for this day and age to sell a car without keyless entry. I also own a base SR and it's the perfect platform for customization

Did you jus leave the lug nuts wrapped up in your bed and assume that they would use them? It did you bring them to the attention of the service department?

In the end, I got the truck I wanted, with the features I wanted in the final negotiated deal. My "bitch" with Toyota is that I think it's absolutely ridiculous to offer a $20K+ vehicle without key-less entry. Even the competitors with roll-up windows have key-less entry for goodness-sake.

No, I told the service writer they were back there. I just think they were in a rush because I had been there all day.

Well it's a factory Toyota part, and the guy that did the install is the one guy that does all the key-less entry installs, so hopefully it's not a hack job. It's covered by the standard warranty, so we'll see. I must admit I was hesitant to have it installed, but it functions perfectly.

It's a bare bones 4 door JK with a hardtop.

Auto trans, crank Windows, manual locks cloth seats, rubber steering wheel etc

Nice, that's all you need really. If I ever got one I'd probably get something similar, but I would want the soft-top

Buys a bare bones Truck. Complains that it doesn't have features that more expensive Trucks have.

More expensive features are 4x4, upgraded suspensions, upgraded audio/nav, leather, climate control, alloy wheels, body treatments, etc. Key-less entry is about as rudimentary a feature as you can get, particularly when the solenoids and logic already there. Would you expect your basic cable box to come without a remote?
