Weekly Photography Challenge Thread (see first post rules and then the poll at top before entering)

What's the theme this week!?

 

Let me get to work and I'll post it. Damn, thought I put it up. Sorry.

 

New challenge: Wirey - the adjective and/or relating to electrical/mechanical wires.

One photo per person and due this Sunday by midnight. Photo must of been taken since Monday of this week. I apologize as I thought I had posted this earlier. Thanks for the reminder @Taco16Jessy

Should we post in some other threads to get some more entries and kick back into gear this week?

 

I can't take pictures for crap, but I love looking at people that excel at the art. Beautiful pictures in here.

Horseshit you can't! You can get decent pictures on a cell phone... The majority of mine are from a cell phone because I rarely even take out my real camera anymore. Just start taking pictures of stuff and you'll get better.

 

Like the OP said, it isn't the camera, it's the person holding it. That's where my photography is lacking

I take a lot of pictures for my BBQ team, so maybe the right theme will come along .

 

It's only lacking because youre telling yourself it is.

If you have the eye for cool looking pictures then you're halfway there... Just have to practice recreating what you like to see.

 

Taken at work here in Ft Worth. It was taken inside an old grain silo that we now use for storage.

I didn't know such an animal existed! Did you steal it from one of NASAs imaging satellites or something?

 

Nikon D800 36.3mp full frame.

 

So I just got back from work. But.... I got an hour in the dark. While my camera is good I don't know of anything that meets the challenge .
Medic- fully agree and can't wait for the new d850 to be my first full frame camera

We can keep it the same... I think people can get creative.

 

I may be able to submit something this time. I did do one or two shots but could not get them submitted as I was away from my computer a lot over the past week. We'll see if I capture something else in the mean time but for now, there should be at least one entry coming.
