Here's a few pics from my trip to Rangeley a couple weeks ago. I'll dig some more up at home.

Looks like a nice spot. How do you like the pop up? I passed one a couple of weeks ago and the wife offhandedly was curious how big they are inside.

Yeah it's nice and quiet. Lots of animals too: Dear, baby coyote, bear, baby ground hog to name a few. I've added a some more pics to here.

The popup was nice to have, it was our first time using one. I was always dead set against owning a camper. With two people and two dogs though it is nice. We had some rain and everything just felt damp like when tenting. So, I tested the furnace and it took the moisture out of the air (also nice being that it got into the 40's that night). I bought a small one two so I can fit into tight spaces. For that site I had to pick up the front by hand and the GF and I maneuvered it into place.

We camped in the wilderness sites of Cupsuptic. In order: Angel Falls, Piazza Rick, Smalls Falls, Angel Falls stream and Top of the Land. All pretty easy to get to. The water was high at Angel Falls so we had to wade through that steam 4 times to get up. Piazza rock was a 2+ mile hike to get to on the Appalachian Trail, nothing extreme.

You'd love where I'm camping in a few weeks, then.

Right now the GF and I are the only people booked for the entire island on the weekend that we're going. :bananadance:

Well I'm still working on my Jesus act, so right now it's by boat. :rimshot:

    :stirthepot:

    Edit--
    There's a boat launch here:

    https://www.google.com/maps/place/44°56'01.6"N+70°57'55.9"W/@44.933786,-70.967716,620m/data=!3m2!1e3!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x0:0x0!8m2!3d44.933786!4d-70.965522

So the GF and I are going to just load the runabout up and haul everything out. We've done it before via kayak and canoe, but it's a probably about a mile one way so it makes for a long paddle. And since we've got a powerboat now, we may as well use it. :notsure:

There is a group buy for a RTT going on in case anyone has missed it:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/sunday-campers-rtt-back-open-until-10-09-17.508589/

There are some spots left for the east coast with a guy who is shipping them from Florida and close to Maine or maybe even in Maine for $85 shipping cost. A 2-3 person tent is a little less than $600 so a pretty good deal. I am in and have paid but a few people have backed out so they are looking for some east coast people to take up the abandoned spots. Thought I would just stick it on here to see if anyone is interested.
