I had 2 lowers engraved when I did my first form 1, I need to figure out Sishops form 1/ single shot trust system so I can get all the lowers engraved at once if I order multiple lowers to SBR.

I thought there trust system is only for suppressors, F1 if you're making your own or F4 if you're transferring?

Negative, any item can be put in a trust (even standard firearms).
Form 1 is the application to make an NFA regulated firearm (IE. SBR, SBS, AOW, Suppressor), form 4 is to transfer NFA items.

    Edit: Misunderstood
Yes, SiShop just introduced a Form 1 service.

That seems like a neat service but now I'm even more confused. The problem some people have is they don't want the government to have there info, fingerprints, etc. Maybe I'm off, but why would I want a memeber of "OUR ATF REVIEW STAFF" looking at my info as well? lol

SiShop has their own branch of the ATF, when the info is submitted to SiShop it goes to their branch of the ATF.

Originally it was, not sure now with the volume that SiShop deals with now, from my understanding they have approximately 5 people going through the paperwork just for them.

What the shit? When did this happen? Why would a government agency give a private company something like that?

Well I should've worded it better, the ATF dedicated agents to Silencershop paperwork.

Wow, did not know that. In my eyes, that still seems bias, the whole point is for us all to wait our turn. Dedicating agents to a single outside company still seems fishy.

Let me ask you this. A company just sent you 10k applications which is the equivalent of $2 million to the government. Would you show a little favoritism too?

I'll see what I can find, IIRC I read something about it first on a gun blog, and then I've heard the same thing from one of the dealers in Richmond, Va that deals with Silencershop a lot.

It may have a little bit of bias, however if it makes the system more efficient then I'm all for it.
Everything has some bias, just as nothing is truly random.

I'm fine with family members/close friends calling up their ATF "buddy" and having it pushed through faster but not when an entire company is involved and actually making a profit. That's some sketchy shit.
Edit: they're probably reading this right now and won't mail me my stamp for another month

SiShop worked with the ATF to develop the kiosks that do the paperwork and fingerprints and submission. There is some sort of expedited aspect to it. I got caught up in the very first submission from their kiosks when they were still working the bugs out. It delayed my paperwork by 2 months. Wasn't real happy with that, but once the process started there wasn't anything I could do about it. I think it works fine now.
