Board meeting @ 1730 hrs. Last one before nominations for 4 new board members and new prez. Should be interesting. Or not.

On tonights agenda, a group of members wishing to present petition (allegedly with 275 names) to fire existing manager. This will probably be pushed into executive council meeting. I won't be in the room then. For shame.

Tomorrow, July 27th, my 2-year anniversary date here @ TW.

Had fun! Made many good friends! Learned a few things! Hope I helped a few people! And I hope this is just a good start!

Nice quiet morning.....We have a big golf event starting later today, so I was treasuring the quiet start. There's a storm approaching over the horizon. Lightening flashing in the distance. Beautiful morning!

Then I round the corner and get my first glimpse of the parking lot. Why is there 3 police cars sitting in the lot with red/blue lights on? Then my phone goes off.....Alarm company. "You have an intrusion alarm on zone 4".

    Wonderful.

One of our multitude of dumbass's left the freekin' building unlocked last night. Alarm set, just didn't lock the doors. One of the early arrivals that uses our gym pulled the door open and set off the alarm. Now it's not peaceful. Shit has solidly hit the fan.

So much for my quiet start. It all goes down hill from here.

There's powdered sugar (from donuts) all over the door knob now.

Alarm company called everyone on our phone list. Asshat is on his way in to "investigate". Phuk.

Opinions on AllPro products? Bumpers/sliders/skids/bed racks, etc....Decent quality?

No....Not yet anyway. Some issue with delivery dates on aluminum bumpers....May have to rethink if I want it on before Harlan. Just developing a plan B in case. Will hear promised delivery dates by next week. Then adjust if need be.

Good distance out just to get a possible delivery, which pushes back actual delivery even more. Gotta love vague answers.

Just get an ARB front bumper. After seeing @16Tacos in person, I'm almost leaning toward it over the Dakar Hybrid

    Not interested..

    Too heavy.

    Want aluminuum.

CBI or. ALLPRO. in that order.

CBI aluminum isn't the Dakar.....Moab 2.0. Saves 60+ lbs over steel.

    ALLPRO almost 70lbs lighter.

    Gonna go with aluminum skids.

Some brands of sliders are 10 to 12 weeks lead time for bolt on. Allpro is 7 to 10 DAYS until ship. Will ups in 4 days. I want them now.

12 to 16 weeks. Too long. Already talked to em.

That long or longer on sliders.

Will know potential ship date on complete order from CBI by next tuesday. First guess was a week before Harlan. They wanted to make one shipment even though 3 seperate pallets. Extra freight if anything ships early. BS.

ALLPRO will send sliders in 7 to 10 days by UPS. Skids ship same day as ordered via UPS. Bumper by truck in 2 to 3 weeks.

I have several sources for Warn winch. 3 to 4 days. Got a killer price on it.

Spending almost 4k. I'm not just gonna take whatever I can get. Also not going to build a 7000lb dump truck.

Actually, I'm finding SOME of the better ones have more production capabilities and can be had quickly....

    Hold up is ALUMINUM bumpers.

And there was absolutely no sense in shopping until the money was available.

I'm not planning on using the truck as a battering ram. Current aluminum skid hasn't been a problem.

No desire to add 1000lbs of iron that's not wanted/needed for my use.
