    Truck stuff
I use a mid rack so the height is about the same as my roof. The tent and rack(~180lbs for both) weigh less than I do at 200lbs. In the end I have taken basically no mpg loss and it stays on my truck all the time.

With my truck being my daily driver, how much of a pain is it to install/remove a RTT on bed rails just for camping trips? I would have to remove/install rails for my tonneau cover as well.

too much of a pain for me to want to do that, personally. not really a one person job. did the removal/install alone once. once is all i needed, not doing it again if avoidable.

not sure from a tonneau cover perspective but mine only is on for trips and is removed as soon as I'm home... it's ehhhh a 15-20min process? that's taking my time and drinking usually during it

Get a hoist system in your garage. It takes me about 10 min to unbolt it and lift it off with minimal sweat and cursing

If I put it on a midrack, it wouldn't be tall enough put an annex on would it?

I agree. I have a Harken Hoist for my garage and i lift the rci bedrack and mt shasta summit rtt on it. I am able to lift it and reinstall it solo and it takes minimal time... minutes really

It will be shorter, but you can still use the annex. The one with the summit series on CVT tents has some built in tie downs for when it is too short... I havent used my annex much, but im in Texas and its hotter than the inside of the sun here most of the time

I'm in the process of doing a whole write-up on it. But that'll likely have to wait till next week. Headed up to the Sierra's to use it some more this weekend. I'm so stoked on it!!

VERY NICE!!! I was ready to purchase a slide system at OEW a few months ago but they weren't avail for Tacoma's yet. They did tell me they were close to ready. I left my name & number, told her I'd buy as soon as they could provide one... this post is the only reason I know they are avail! THANK YOU. Now to get a local vender to order me one!

    15? I wish!

I don't think I ever got 19... original owner since 05! Maybe the first year before I did anything to it.

It also hasn't fit in my garage for YEARS, even before the RTT! It is my DD and I get 12.5 flat land. When hauling my Turtleback (also with RTT) I squeeze out 10.5. Maybe I'll slow down one day and see what I can get max.
