My 06 doesn't have cool technology, so I have the pleasure of living in the bliss of ignorance

 

Going through the mountains with the Turtleback (which I do often) heading up to N. AZ, Utah, Colo... I get 9 - 9.5 overall. On the way home I can squeeze out 12. It may not be fuelly foolish, but it's always a great ride!!!!

 

Nahh then you end up with this.

Same here. RTT comes on and off solo with no hoist nonsense since the big truck can't even approach my garage.

Is this a AZ thing or a non-Taco thing?

Based on what everyone said on here I was expecting it to be a PITA. In all honesty it took me 7 mins maybe, doing this all alone. I like it, glad I went with the vestibule model. Will be nice to have a place to keep some bags and shoes.

 

anyone have links to a better option to secure your cover with instead of the velcro ones? I had one come loose and swing like crazy when I was on the freeway.

 

Does the cover not have a zipper?

 

It's easier when you have the overhang.

 

it has a zipper. I'd like to replace these Velcro straps to something more secure.

 

I've got a handful of these that I'm going to use to replace the buckles on the cover straps and the straps holding the tent halves together. I'll probably use different strap material too.
