I am not sure I agree. This kind-of attitude is the problem with our world.
You do realize it's a world we all share right? And we only got one. It also belongs to all the animals, birds and fishes and people yet to come.
I heard somewhere that 70% of all Tacoma's are still running on the roads. It's not like the recommended oil would wear out the engine. Chances are, your truck would most likely out last your life time at which time most likely people might be using Electric trucks, who knows.. I am not trying to argue, just trying to encourage you to take another perspective for your next oil change. Conservation needs collective efforts. One rule I try to live by is to leave this place better than you found it. That includes people I interact with as well.

Too many but also not enough mods
1st mods finally installed. Installed Warn Ascent Rear Bumper with LED pods, Solid Fold cover and tints on front windows to match the rear.

Your picture illustrates what I really like about this specific running board. I really like the lip with the holes that angles up into the pinch weld, which gives it a very integrated look. Seeing your picture also just cost me $80. I think I'm going to add mud guards to finish it out.

Has the old PROVEN 4.0 V6 and the BULLETPROOF 5 speed automatic transmission. Drive nothing like our 2016+ Tacomas. More power. More torque. Better shifting. Night and day difference in driving. But worse gas mileage.

Running boards from the 2nd Gen Tacoma...The dealer said they wouldn't fit, as do the online configurators, but they do fit perfectly.

Part number is PT212-35055 if you have a double-cab, and PT212-35053 for the access cab. I really think they're one of the best options because of the way they fit. My concern was whether they'd extend out enough for ding protection, and they do. Looks to me like they were designed to line up with the outside edge of the tires for a really unobtrusive, streamlined look.

Kudos to the first guy who ordered these and took the risk!

Hopefully 1 day soon, after another update or 2, we can say that about our Tacoma. I sure hope so. Mine is one of the better ones but still not quite as good as it should be.

TRD Sport Taco is $5000 less than a decent 4runner.

I've always loved them along with Tacomas. Body on frame design, power, comfort, cargo space, and can tow 5k lbs. I like my Tacoma and will probably keep it a while. Hell I'm putting a new lift/tires on this weekend. But if a good deal comes along, I might swap.

Some nice sr5 4 runners were 42k+ when i looked a few weeks ago. Nice ass rides.

    If i didn't need a bed...

I wish i could have a tacoma with the sr5 4R front. Seen a mockup here on the forum. Perfection.
