    About 18,000 miles......:pout: It's kind of a joke. I just can't bring myself to leave it in a parking lot in Oakland, CA multiple days a week.

    GTI runs well. That is, until I ran over a loose ball hitch on the freeway.

    Side walls were baked by the sun and apparently were "compromised," says the tire guy. I think hitting something metal on the freeway at 80mph will comprise anything.

    But I got 4 new tires anyways and the airport shuttle is back up and running.
