You would probably need to swap both fenders, grille, bumper, headlights, driving lights, turn signals and a whole host of other brackets and bolts I'm guessing.

yeah its been done pretty popular with the low lifes...er.. low rider crowd to put the 03 style front end on the older trucks.... I think it is pretty much the core support, hood, fenders, grille, lights

I've had a few lowered trucks...but then again i think there is a difference between a lowered truck... and the lowrider crowd.. but hey whatever tickles your pickle on the front end conversion... like I said I thought it was core support fenders etc not just grille you can tell hood is different shape at leading edge and the fenders have different shape too

I've done a little comparing between the two
Fenders wouldnt HAVE to be replaced, but you would have to do a little tinkering to make the side lights fit, as the 95-99 used screws that held it in and the 01-04 uses clips and a slider

The Grill and two trim pieces under the headlights would be needed from on 01-04

I dont think the cor support would need changed necessarily as the only noticible difference between the two is the headlight mounting holes which, honestly, you could fab something up to make the new ones fit,

As for the front bumper i really dont know.the bumper brackets are the same from 95-04 on the 4WD version IIRC.

If I'm wrong, point it out, but I'm pretty sure I've got my facts straight, I took almost all the sheetmetal from a 97 that came into our shop just in case :D

i beleve the bumper is a direct bolt on and as far as the corner laps go idk about the 01-04 but they should be the same
and u need to swap out the hood of your going from a 95.5-00 to a 01 -04
