I just bought this truck ina 2017 - acess cab so far I am loving it. My 2008 SR5 met a deer at 60 MPH and both dies in the process. I opted to buy more truck than I had before 4 cyl 5 spd and bought a TRD off road. Color so far is great with gravel dust.

 

my 2017 TRD Sport WIP. I have spacers just havent installed them yet, and gonna pick up some TRD pro wheel next month! i think black wheels and spacers coupled with a 3" lift in the future will tie it together quite nice.

I can't find a new or used '17 4x4 in any trim level long bed to save my life! Found one in Texas but it was sold.

 

having two days off following the purchase of my truck is bad for my wallet. plasti dipped all badges today and bought a new grille.

any of you guys know what color plasti dip I'll need to match quicksand?

 

I've changed the whole look of my truck within 4 days of purchasing it LOL but love it!

Nervous first time using jack

 

I just found a few on Autotrader. If you're willing to look far away you should be able to find one. A lot of dealerships will ship their cars if you don't mind buying something sight unseen. As long as it's brand new there isn't much risk in doing that.

They were long bed? I found some 2WDs and one used 4x4, nothing that is new though.

 

I always leave the door open and use a heavy duty 1" ratchet strap from the base of the jack to the other side of the vehicle to keep it from kicking out. Don't attach the ratchet strap until you have the vehicle lifted to the height you want it. Then hook it up and snug it good. You can also do this to keep the jack from leaning as well by hooking a strap or chain to each end of the slider and then back to the jack close to the base. Makes the jack more stable if you have to actually get under the truck to put a jack stand or something to block the truck up in place. Better to say this than not, even if you already know it.... Do not ever get under a vehicle supported by only a jack, especially a Hi-Lift jack.
