@kashtyaatsi have you hit the road? Please look at my post on the last page about the rock that's fallen. I don't think you and Brandon rigs will fit.

 

Also got a report on sunlight from locals that one of the crossings is very washed out. Only just opened up there. Water is still moving strong but should be cross able in a truck.

 

I saw on thier Facebook page Magic City 4x4 had a group go up to try and move it, but we're unsuccessfull. I believe they had Jeep's up above it trying to roll it back into the hillside.

 

I bet that's where this photo came from I have.

 

I'm not worried. Seriously I wish you could see the water crossings at kerwin. I bet over a mile of road was under water. The main crossing is 2-300yards wide. I didn't get any photos of it all because well...you couldn't get out haha I did that in Igor. I'll have frank for this. No worried. The guy told me they were in 4wheelers so they didn't go across but my truck would be fine.

 

Haven't left yet. I'd hate to drive 9 hours and not be able to do it. Could've taken the bike I guess. I'll see if I can get a hold of Brandon.

 

They were just trying to turn it and get it back against the hill to make it more passable. I don't think anyone wanted to be hooked on to it when it started down hill.

The last idea I think going around was an electric jack hammer and a generator.

There is one creek I know they are in and no one fishes. It's close to elk city so I'll start there. Then probably look at maybe hitting up the lochsa on Sunday if am feeling up for the drive.

I have been looking at houses since moving here to get an idea of the market. I love this area so I am more than ready to get a house. Lots of options (cheap too) but most will require some heavy renovating.

I'm pretty sure I can find a 2-3 bedroom with a shop though. So I'll be holding out for the perfect house. Just need to get Lizzy some meaningful employment and we will be set.

The one at the link I posted was appealing because it was purportedly brand new components. If I were to do this, it would only be with new stuff.

 

No i haven't been able too. I'll try the HAM but he is monitoring a UHF freq and im not sure i can get out that far.
