I send this guy money he said he would send the supercharger and no supercharger was sent

now i asking for a refund and getting the run around.

buddy if you arent going to send the supercharger refund my money now im not waiting a week.

i think after this he will leave/be blocked by this forum and probablly go on another forum or craigslist to scam somewhere else.

i should have known it was a scam when he refused to talk on the phone but txt messages and PM were fine.

Oh man. That's not good at all! So OP is a scumbag. Makes sense since he has such a low post count an is suddenly selling a major item for dirt cheap. Sorry to hear about your troubles. Hopefully they can be resolved in a decent manner.

 

I offered over and over to drive and pick it up, but he wouldn't let me only wanted me to wire money. I wasn't about to wire 3grand without holding the SC in my hand... Sorry you got taken... He told me he had cancer and that's why he was selling, idk if anyone got the same story

 

Looking at his posts though, it looks like he's bought and sold a few things on here and been at least a partially active part of the NE forum community for a few years. I want to give him the benefit of the doubt but it's not looking good, this in particular ....

....that combined with what @1HItaco is currently experiencing with the seller makes it seem like he's gone full scumbag scammer on us. Hope you get your money back @1HItaco, or the product you paid for. Fingers crossed it's some kind of misunderstanding or mishap that caused a delay in communication or shipping. Hopefully.

i wish you would have posted this up to give a warning.

he refused to take phone calls but had no problem texting and only wanted wire transfer.

luckily i sent the bulk payment through paypal and hopefully i can get that back but i did send over $400 through wire transfer to help him out with shipping and i dont think that will ever come back to me.

if he does refund my money then i wouldn't have a problem but seems like im SOL on this one.

look out for this setup on other forums dont get scammed

Clear sign. I would've been happy if the buyer of my TRD supercharger (solara supercharger, not tacoma) would've picked it up. Save me on packing material.

 

A required wire transfer always SHOUTS scam. Just like the Nigerian prince

yup i got screwed

it is weird as the member did seem to sell a few items before and made a few posts since 2014 thats why i thought it was legit.

i doubt the admins can do anything for me unless they go to this guys/girls address and kick ass and get my money back.
