whistle sound comes on at 85 - 90 mph

    its still stock.. thats why I joined this site to fix that
    so when im hauling ass theres a whistling sound that seems to come from the hood scoop. and when I slo back down it goes off... I wonder if any of you could tell what it is... also, does the hood scoop even have any mechanical use? its a stock hood. posted a pic of mah 'coma yall check it out

    Nope- No use- Just looks.
    There is a wing noise TSB for some windshield weather strip that folks have has issues with.

    Or easy answer- Don't go 85-90mph??

    I do 80MPH on the highway all the time... I usually get passed by soccer moms in mini vans at that speed as well...

    From the window TSB- No probably not. The window TSB was at highway speeds....and if you hit highway speeds in reverse....well...HOLY SHIT about covers that.

    i dont do it often. i just always noticed that noise at those speeds.. its weird though how it dosent make noise at all going 75... but it "turns on" after 80-ish...
