Also on the boat of first and last Tacoma...

This has been happening a lot more and more with my truck. Just today had to make a left from a stop sign across two lanes of traffic to the side I wanted to go, no median to stop in. Gave it gas to try to get out there as soon as I hardly turned the wheel left and all power cuts out leaving me hardly rolling while two cars are headed my way. Comes back and got just enough to get out of the way...

Heading to the dealer for service this weekend and will bring it up.

Certainly could be. But none of my vehicles have ever done that. That includes my previous Tacoma and current 4Runner. It's a common u-turn point in the city.

Might need to go to the football stadium parking lot and do some testing.

Beginning 2016 I got my 16 TRD OR 6MT. When I bought it told dealer to give me first PRO 6MT they get, and we agreed on trade in value for my 16 OR given certain mileage allowances

I had my 0R about 4.5 months 3,913 miles on trade in. Had my Pro since mid last year, it was the first PRO in ORegon. By October of this year it will be time to get something else :)

Remember the 16 Tacoma MT OR I had , I traded my 16 wrx limited on it which I had 28 days and 750 miles

However I have a 24 month lease with a LX570 from the office . I have had that LC/LX lease since FJ80 so it's been a long time.

This truck has been great to me otherwise. I've put some time, energy, and money into it and it kinda pisses me off this is happening. I need to hang onto it for a bit but the future mods I've been considering are out the window. I'll set that cash aside just in case I trade in/trade up. Fingers crossed for a fix.

To make a long story short, I decided I didn't need a new vehicle and the payment that comes along with it so I picked up a 2000 wrangler (4.0 L6, manual transmission) for weekend/beach/offroad fun and a 2000 miata (manual trans) for majority of daily driving and autocross. Got both of them for about half the cost of the Taco. They need a little work but I'm fine with doing that myself. Worked on my own truck for years before having the Tacoma, actually kind of missed doing it. If I absolutely needed a truck I would have gone with a first gen taco or late 90's early-ish 2000's ranger.

Couldn't find a newer vehicle that fit my needs, so I went back to driving little bit older vehicles.

So nice to have throttle cable/manual trans combos again.

Congrats on the Miata. I have had a few NA, NB (MSM), and NC2 myself . Enjoy :)

This is the exact same problem mine is having, its been in 3 times, 1 reflash tranny, 2 replace CSP, 3 send logs to toyota engineers. all so they can tell me its operating as designed and that it will learn its way out of it eventually. COMPLETE CRAP!!!

So got back from the dealer. gave the service manager a ride and we did experience the misfire and hesitation when in cruising speed. He said he can't do anything since it's not throwing any codes. They can't fix something that's not "broken"till it gives you a code. So I'm over it. Guess we have to suck it up and drive our expensive trucks like this.

Sounds like it. Called the dealership yesterday to see what's going on with my truck, they've had it since Tuesday, and she said the work order wasn't put it. They'll take care of it today. The tech told me the same thing so I offered to pay for a sensor replacement IF it didn't fix the problem. Well see what they have to say today.

Well let us know if it does anything. I told them if they could change the sensor also, said they can't since I don't fall into the vin recall list.

They didn't hook up Techstream and monitor the test drive?
