If i had one sitting in my garage I'd make it pay rent. Freeloading smittybilt...

    Just confirms all my suspicions.

I've had a few buddies with Shittybuilt's. Seems like if you get a good one they last a long time. Or you might get a bad one and it could grenade the gears on the first use. Have you checked out ENGO winches?

That's a bit of a russian roulette there lol. I haven't checked ENGO out, but I'll give em a look. Just was wondering about smitty because that price is really good...

Edit: wow, so are ENGO's prices :drevil:

I've read the new version of smittybilt had some big improvements over the older versions.

Mine hasn't really been used but I unspool and respool every now and again and it works for that every time. Haha

    Check out the build
On a budget I've read then harbor freight 12k winch is solid. Supposedly designed by the same guys that make military winches.

I think @jqueener can vouch for Engo. He uses the shit out of that thing on snow runs.

Yeah they are reasonably priced even with synthetic line and they are lighter than most other winches. I think the 9000 lb with synthetic line is 50 lbs

I'm running a 10k engo. Haven't done any hard pulls with it yet but it's worked great for the little shit I've used it for. Did some research before I bought it and it had pretty good reviews. It is a little on the loud side but who really cares as long as it's getting you unstuck.

Hey hey. Any fishermen fish the Russian River north of Santa Rosa much? Any good holes to fish? Have recently started hitting the section just north of Cloverdale, but would like to find some bigger fish, preferably smallmouth and some catfish.

Left work early and still sat in traffic for 1.5 hrs to get to my 3:30 doctors appointment on time just to sit and wait for the doctor. 1 hr later he finally comes in to inform me the results from the second MRI haven't been forwarded to him yet. :annoyed::annoyed::annoyed::annoyed:

Told him to hurry up and fix my shoulder I've got wheeling trips scheduled :D

Did 2 white ones have campers, specifically Flippacs, and one had way too many Rotopax gas cans and a tire on the roof? We may know who those guys are...

Also a silver 2nd gen and silver 1st gen.

I'd understand it better if it was inhabited by middle school girls. Sadly, it's not. Grown mens in there.

Now I get why you wanted to nuke that whole forum.

If they get nuked they will all join up and implode arguing over who and where and how to start their own site.
