I got back from a six day, 1400 mile solo overland trip around Oregon a few days ago. If you’re interested in seeing some visuals, head on over to the Camping thread or the Off-Road thread and check ‘em out. Or don’t. I don’t care.

If you look at it head on that part would hit something before the shock mount would.

Dam you could have ran into my buddy doing the same thing. He just got back from a solo trip to Oregon. This is his pic. Also his and your truck are really similar.

It is an inventory tag. One of my older Tacos had one. It's safe to remove.

Since I'm laid up and can't ride, took advantage of where I'm at and went to explore Rocky Mountain State Park. WOW, unbelievable scenery. Saw several Moose on my hike and a big herd of Elk at around 11,500 feet. Topped out the drive at about 12,100 feet. All in all, pretty great day! Also pretty cool to see the Colorado river headwaters, nothing more than a little creek

Side note, hiking with a 40lb pack, severely bruised hip and a broken rib at elevation, challenging! In case you all were wondering
