Very true, will be spending more down the road. But Jerry's truck is the bar for me.

Very cool. I don't think I saw your buddy, but I saw another MGM third gen with black/yellow Cali plates of "KING TACO" (or "TACO KING")... anyone know who that is? His truck was done up.

I'd love to camp out your way some day... Montana is beautiful. I could see myself living there one day.

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
No kidding, I can barely afford the truck but the mods are killing me...

    2017 Tacoma OR 4x4 (formerly 2002 OR 4x4, 1995 4x4 4Runner, 1985 4x4 Toy PU) ... and RIP’s (rust in pieces) to a Bronco II 4x4 & S10 Blazer 4x4
It's a class III hitch, so is rated to tow 3500 lbs, but I imagine static winching could exceed that, depending on the winch mount- HF sells this one rated to 9000lbs:

I wondered the same thing- my front receiver hitch bolts on to the threaded part of those.

I traded my 2014 Rubicon for my 2017 Tacoma. Everyday I love the truck more and more, no regrets.......oh, I do have one regret, I waited way too long to get rid of that Jeep!

    Good luck.........

Ha! I traded a JKU Rubi for my Taco as well. I got sick of not being able to haul shit around. I literally would stack firewood on the backseats for camping trips. Obviously I can't go all the places the Rubi would go, but that's a tradeoff I was more than willing to make.

I should be able to install it all by the end of the week and have high expectations. It certainly has a lot to live up to with my current setup

If you don't plan on adding weight to the bed of the truck, i.e. rtt, rack, shell etc, the rxt is going to be pretty overkill. Just like 700 pound coils in the front, without added weight from a winch and or bumpers, the truck is gonna ride like crap.
