Wait...you installed the bypass mounts without cycling them to make sure everything fits right?

I would still cycle it once you get bypasses

Cross your fingers, just because it's a kit doesn't mean everything is going to line up perfectly. Manufacturing tolerances or jig-fuck ups can throw things off.

It's unlikely to be off, and if it is, it's unlikely to be a lot, but it's not exactly a quick operation to reposition things that are welded on.

hopefully they didn't pay for a race kit...that's like a $400 fuck up and a big difference in weight and ground clearance

No one I've heard of has done this - especially w/o custom mounts. I've started a thread on first gen radiators and read through another recent one. You're probably going to hear a lot of different opinions. Most say get the cheapest one you can find and expect to replace it as a regular maintenance item. OEM Harrison's are $184 on parts websites. Parts stores carry them for ~$150 unless you can get one on sale.

You can replace your core support mount bushings and relocate your battery to minimize breakage up there :notsure:

I'm slowly deleting my core support. Custom mounts to a 3 row aluminum radiator from the3.0 pick up

Anything is possible I suppose. If I had a welder and a plasma cutter / cutting torch I'd be a lot more adventurous to try that kind of stuff. Here's a write up on the cab mount bushings and the core support bushings would be roughly the same procedure. I know I have to do all of mine - they're falling apart :(
