FINALLY..... did the CMC mod myself today. Started around 2:00PM and finished around 7:00PM. The first side was the learning curve so the other side was a breeze! Been meaning to do this for awhile now. Welds weren't as clean as I usually would like but oh well. No one will see this lol

20170728_161223.jpg Just throwing this picture up for effect, but yesterday I found a nice long dirt road and ripped it up, 75+ mph and handling like a dream! I love the 2017 off-road suspension I installed! I'd recommend it to anyone replacing their 2nd gen suspension!

I actually graduated in '14 with a finance degree.

Grew up in Manassas, then eventually moved for work to Utah after 2 stints in Seattle and LA.

I did the front brakes today. I had the pulsing pedal problem (sometimes referred to as warped rotors)

and cause you guys don't have a clue what front brakes might look like.... a picture! :D I should add that the brake package I went with was OE quality Maxbrakes

Almost finished retrofiting some headlights for my Taco. The bowls are painted matte black while the shroud and trim is painted MGM to match the truck.

Of course. Just for some info, my dad and i bought it (1983 Toyota Pickup 4x4) probably 7 years ago, it was set up as a flat deck and my dad (welder by trade) boxed sections of the frame... It was listed as a 1985 pickup, it is in fact according to my search of the vin number a 1983...

We put used ag tires on it and built removable sides for the deck (they're quad ramps) the snorkel was on it when purchased so I don't know the story behind it, but it works. At the time i wanted the stack exhaust, my dad wanted to dump it at the rear axle... Guess i won that argument... 8500lb superwinch up front... Ancient 12000lb warn stacked winch that was on my grandpa's farm on the deck... KC lights behind a mesh guard... 22R and manual transmission. I'll post interior pics when I get it cleaned up slightly lol

Did mine too... Installed EBC brake kit and got me a celebration beer... I had similar problem as you they told me at the stealership the vibration on the steering when braking during high speeds was caused by warped rotors.

Don't worry the paint is all rattle can... I can bang that out in an afternoon for $50 and some bourbon!

    Thank you!

yeah it spent all of it's life at my grandparent's farm just mobbing quad trails, only have it here now because they sold the farm and my dad can't drive standard anymore due to a hip injury.

I found out that the bolt pattern is the same as the taco so I'm trying to justify road legal tires...
