I picked up one recently from Costco! It works pretty well! Snagged it on coupon for $60 off.

    https://m.costco.com/PowerStroke-31...-Electric-Start-Engine.product.100338562.html

I replaced an electric one I had bought there about 18 months prior that had the motor go up in smoke. Costco gave me the credit no questions asked even 18+ months after the purchase.

I bought these on ebay for $65 shipped with a wiring harness & switch. I did alot of searching and they seem to be clones of the caliraised sideshooters.

No jack stands needed. My Papa paid $200 for it about 20 years ago. Stout AF.

Oh man that's gonna come in handy. Just keep an eye on the brake lines when you start lifting the body from the axle. There are a couple brackets you can undo to get yourself a little more wiggle room.

Question for EST Lair. Do I keep the grill emblem chrome or do we wrap it & black it out?

Make it black!!! Wrap may be tough though. Derp is super easy and holds up great, or even spray paint.

I know a guy that is kind of handy with the vinyl & hair dryer. He posted a random pic on the "what have you done to your 2nd gen today" thread and was enticed to do a write up by @EatSleepTacos . Im sure I can follow some of his tips.

I wish. As I was walking back towards where I hit her (to kick the $hit out of the carcass), I saw her in the moonlight stand up and walk off slowly in the direction she had come from...
