Thanks guys. Honestly, the only real reason for the lift was to attempt to level it a bit more. After I put on the ARB, I noticed my headlights have a cutoff due to the hoop. The suspension didn't drop much at all so I wanted to "tip" the front up just a bit. My 50+ year old eyes need all the help they can get. If it still has too much cut off, we'll look at some big ass LED rounds.

Who am I kidding, just put the damn lights on. Oh crap, then I should add a snorkel...

All this just to make runs to the HD??? o_O

Oh yeah, I know. My last truck I did Morimoto H1's. Looked nice, light was bright near the truck, but such a sharp cut off. Never, never again. If you drive on flat roads, fine. But, going up and down hills would bring the cut off right to the truck. Street signs, forget it - dark.

Lights on the Tacoma are "light years" ahead of my last truck (96 Cummins) pun intended. I swear some days I'd have to get out and walk the truck to work...

I emember seeing a lot of Tacomas there. About 6 months ago, you would have seen my F150 in the lot with them. My last project shared the parking lot with that project.

I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
Morning all from PA. Last day, packing up and coming home today. Should be fun except for the packing up, driving for 6 hours that will most definitely turn into a 7.5 to 8 hour trip because of family. Lol. And that is hoping I don't hit traffic (which of course I most likely will). And then of course, the unpacking.

Ugg! Anyways, good morning everyone! It's a beautiful morning!!!

Mine squeaked and I found a TSB saying the original shoes and drums Toyota used would do that, so the fix was to replace everything.

Did that, and eventually they started to squeak again, but it's only when they are cold so just the first couple stops. I have no desire to tear them apart again, so I'll live with it.

First time I warped a drum pretty badly. The second time I had a sticking ebrake cable and it wore down to bare metal and blew the wheel cylinder out. I hope to not have to do drums anytime soon

I've figured out that if I pull the drums off and clean everything up with brake cleaner, they'll stop squeaking for a while. They always start again eventually, though, so I stopped bothering. It'd bother me more if it did it all the time, but it's just the first couple stops after the truck sat.

Not far from me. If they somehow survive the first bridge, they can try the second one with an incline after it.

Sounds ab It like my day but with a little more driving. We hiked Mount Washington yesterday and just got back from camping today. We had a great weekend for it, the summit was clear and fairly warm.

BTW, anyone here have a NH plated Tacoma with the vanity plate 'JOSH'?
