No, not those nipples, these nipples

They cover the bolts for the factory tow hitch. Both of mine have fallen off and I cannot find the part online. I would rather avoid going to the stealership. Any help would be appreciated. (sorry for the lack of areola :D)

Wow, Thanks for the offer. I would hate to see you go without. I think it might cut down on the possibility of rust forming on the bolts after the paint chips off of them. But if you really don't want them I won't turn down your generous offer.

I was mostly interested in knowing if anyone knew where to find them. I've looked at a couple of parts places as well as ebay and can't seem to find them. it may be because I don't know exactly what they are called.

I had to get mine from the stealership. Expensive little buggers. Glue them on if you replace them though. I stepped on one wrong after replacing and it popped off. Luckily the plastic "clip" didn't break and it popped back on.

well, i was looking for them, but i came across the tow hitch installation .pdf http://www.customtacos.com/tech/files/2005+TacoTowHitch.pdf and it seems that they are called 'bolt head caps'...i tried doing a search of that, but i haven't had any luck so far, but maybe you can find something.

All I have been able to find is the complete hitch assembly/kit. I think I'm going to have to make a deal with the devil and visit the parts guy at the local stealership.

Thanks for the link, but that is for the non hitch bumper. Those do go in the exact same spot as the rounded caps do.

    RIP Lucy.
    She's gone but not forgotten.
I considered putting a tiny pair of driving lights there for use in seeing the trailer hitch in the dark.

But I know I'd eventually back the truck into the trailer far off enough to bust them off.

Just give me a little bit of time, by mid morning 10:00 AM CDT I will go to my truck and grab the invoice where the part number shows, I just ordered 3 weeks ago a pair, $20.00 shipped. It was almost the same amount for shipping and the cost of both.

    Regards.

    Got it...

Part number is: 51999-04030 Domed Bolt Cap.

I hope this can help you.

8 is listed as a "Cover"
9 is listed as a "Cover Outer Seal"
10 is listed as a "Cover Inner Seal"

Looking at this diagram, "9" is the cap that you need.

(This last info was taken from Toyota nation after "google" the part-number)
