I agree! The Noica 80 mil is more for reducing rattles. I got it off of Amazon and for the price it is a quality product. I used it on the inside of the doors (working it through the access holes to place on the door skin). The frost king insulation was then used to cover the plastic liner to isolate road noise. It has really helped with the road noise such as when a car comes by in the opposite direction.

You should be in good shape! Your kit may come with it, but definitely get a roll of some sort of foil tape. Also, get a bag of door fastener clips. I had several break when removing the door panels.

I got a day off of work one time when I was driving there and got a cel. Called in for the day and drove home and found out it was the gas cap. If I had the scanner in my truck I would have had to work that day instead of sleeping the whole day instead. Consider that when you decide to keep it in your truck.

Unfortunately I now carry it in the truck. Looks like no more paid naps unless I can find a way to pull it off at work :( :p

i did a layer of 80 then a layer of 50 on top.( i bought the 50 first and decided is wasnt as thick as i wanted) did the entire cab and it did wonders to the road noise of mud terrains and a loud exhaust.

Excellent choice in bumper, and a fine-looking truck all around.

This weekend I went wheeling at an event a big NE Toyota group throws. First trail we hit after this section @ToyRyd04 notices his diff plug backed out from rubbing on the rock. I look at mine and mines backed out too.

So we tacked it in place. The theory is the plugs unscrew themselves as they rub on the rocks. Gotta beef the ring up.

Right on thanks! That is encouraging. I may have to do this over the weekend.

They worked out perfectly. Just enough clearance from the frame. I still have to work on massaging that pinch weld. Thanks again man.

I did my doors, floor pan, and rear wall width frost king. I would say it helped a little, but not much. 2/10 rating. Ha ha.

I already had my entire interior ripped out installing vinyl flooring. I absolutely would not go through the trouble of pulling the interior for frost king. I'd say bite the bullet and buy the real stuff if you're going to do it. It would be a lot of time money and effort to spend to still be listening to tire whine like I am.

Just my experience. Glad it has worked well for others.

I did mine minus the doors and it made a world of difference. Recently did inside the doors and another later in place of plastic behind door panel and even better.
