Good morning folks. Drinking coffee and catching up. Gotta hit the shower then head into town for the ccw class. No rain in the forecast but we have a lot of clouds, winds are around 10 mph or so.

Back from getting the alignment, not happy.

They tell me caster doesn't have a spec and isn't adjustable o_O. Camber is: left started at 0.8, after at 0.8; right started at 0.3' after 0.4. Toe is: left started at 0.25, after at 0.10; right started at -0.15, after at 0.05; total started at 0.10, after at 0.15.

95.00 later and it tracks imperfections in the road. Included in the 95.00 is a shop supply fee. "This charge represents costs and profits of the motor vehicle facility for miscellaneous shop supplies or waste oil." WTF shop supplies are used for an alignment?

I have a 90 day warranty. If I have a day off during the week, I'll take it back. I just need to find the correct specs.

Not any more ... and I still work around active duty military...sadly, my gut feel guess is about 20% of them still think that way; and the worst part is I don't see any senior leadership (officer or enlisted) pushing that other 80% to step in line with the 20%.

It frustrates the bejeesuz outta me ... :frusty: and makes me very sad at the same time. :(

Got it ... I'm gonna buy some Aleve and quit the Motrin all together. Thanks Anthony ... and Good Morning Sir. :hattip:

Yep, exactly. I think ... I just haven't turned the corner to just laughing at it ... hope I figure out how to get there soon. :notsure:

I'm so far behind you guys ... I'm getting ready to cook breakfast when I finish this cup of coffee.

    quite so

    OK ... Pal. :drevil:

I need to take the CCW class again and follow thru on getting the permit this time so I can carry when we go outside to lower 48. I took the class right after I retired from active duty, but it's not required to carry here, so I just kind of let filing the paperwork slip away past the deadline. Think I might take a class again this Winter and actually get the permit this time.

Have a good day and class.

Yep, it's good to be more legal than need just in case. I'm doing the finger prints and everything today so it'll be done and I don't have to worry about it.

My son, his g/f and my wife are doing the next class. This gives me all the more excuse to do more gun shopping...(like I need an excuse).

I hear you on the young folks in the military. We have 2 bases here and sometimes I wonder where it's all going. We all had (have) our own motivations for serving, but you can really see a change of attitude.

2 1/2" spacer up front, AAL out back. Charge must be for the shop rag he used to wipe the grease off of the steering wheel.

If someone could verify, it looks like caster should be 2 - 2.5, camber and toe close to 0???

IMG_0159.jpg Took advantage of eating half a watermelon :anonymous: so I broke out some venison salami a friend gave me along with cheese. Good tasting salami but not enough pork to hold it together

    Mike could
But we all that have lifted have gone to 0,0,3 caster. I'd prefer a tad more caster

Wife took some photos of a rifle that was in her mother's attic. Any ideas on what it is? I'm not schooled on older bolt actions. Poor thing is rusty.
