    I'll soon need a complete clutch kit for my 3.4 swap.

    I am a fan of OEM stuff, but I'm wondering what else is out there.

    Anyone have any current/update experience with companies like grip force, Luk, exedy or anything else.

    Honestly, the clutch disc and pressure plate doesn't concern me as much as the bearings...

    I also have a 1999 Tacoma. I have done a great deal of research on clutches since my old Tacoma now has almost 170,xxx miles on it. The Aisin and the Luk will suit your needs just fine as long as you are not using your rig for hardcore off roading. If you are planning on using your rig for hardcore off road purposes, you might want to check out what is available from Marlin or Centerforce.

    Not enough to have a build thread.
    I like my OEM one from Toyota. Super soft pedal, get compliments every time someone drives it, but no issues with slipping. It was about $500 in parts for the clutch, pressure plate, throw out, and pilot bearing. I'd do the same thing over again after doing more research. There's members here with over 200k on their original clutch. My truck had an exedy in it before and I definitely won't go back to that.

    The clutch behind my 2rz that is coming out for the 3.4 has 270k on it. I put a ton of high way miles on it, but 270 is impressive.
