This is 25 mph roll then WOT. Pegged at 10 doesn't necessarily mean 10. Could be considerably lower than 10.

Saw my afr drop to 8.5 @ WOT. I hope it'll start self adjusting soon.

I've been waiting. The curious part is, if I do a data log, the UCON shows it's seeing around 11 AFR at WOT.

So BOTH my AFR gauges are wrong? And the soot on my tailpipe is wrong? Hmm. Maybe my WRAFs are both wrong, because that is what the UCON is looking at I believe.

Have you installed the new exhaust components yet?

You are not using the FPR mod are you?

Gadget said he was out of y-pipes but more would be ready next week, so he's shipping it all out next week.

No, the FPR mod I tried out briefly back when I had the Bully Dog flash but I put it back the original way a long time ago.

How it works? In the open loop the engine ECU don't know about AFR. But can the UCON see what's going on?

In open loop, in OEM configuration, the feedback between MAF and WRAFs, is turned off. Just a predetermined fuel per load.

The UCON basically turns it back on so that you have feedback at all loads and rpms. Just like a standalone. Thus a target AFR is set, and it works to maintain that target AFR.

Dang, kinda glad I'm waiting til next year to get it lol. I'd be pretty pissed if I was still running stupid rich like that after spending over a grand for a tuner. Hopefully Gadget gets all the kinks worked out

I've been assured that some software updates are being worked out. At least my truck is drivable. As long as I stay out of boost or don't put the pedal down too far, it stays above 12-13 AFR. At steady speeds where I'm not on an incline and not accelerating, it maintains stoich.

Just like "UCON will be out soon! Almost done! This year!" Back in 2011?

Sorry brother, I wanted UCON on my 2011 back then, and had high hopes from emailing with gadget and forum posts....gave up around 2014...got my hope up again when he announced 2009-2011 we're coming out soon, and then lost hope sometime last year when the 2012+ still wasn't out...surprised it actually came out this year, hoping he actually gets on this and helps you guys. But I don't have much hope when I see new 2016+ products coming out and other stuff releasing. Seems like he got these other for you guys, kthanxbai, he'll address them later. Hence my "next year" comment. I really do hope he helps you guys asap and all the tweaks are good and when I do get it it's just waiting for a Dyno run, but I've been let down before :(

Yes stock ECU. At WOT (at least on my truck, others can chime in) is sub 10:1 my gauge only goes down to 10 so being pegged at 10, it's likely lower than that.

I can't remember who posted but they have a gauge that reads 8.5 and it actually reads 8.5 at times.

Man I know we were all hoping that was going to work, I'll guess I'll wait to install mine and hope Gadget gets a fix soon. I have my spec u long tubes which I will probably just wait on too. Man thanks for doing all this grunt work!

Thanks, I'm in it for the long haul. Thankfully, the truck runs well enough that it's driveable as long as I keep a light foot.

Headers, Y-pipe, exhaust, 7th injector and 2.55" pulley are all inbound. I'm hoping that doesn't complicate matters even more. At least I won't have any cats anymore to worry about protecting.

If it takes too long to get things right, I'll just be forced to do a stand alone ECU such as Haltech or something. @Torspd what tuning method do you run?

I completely understand your feelings having seen a history of "coming soon". I'm sure the 2005-2008 had some growing pains as well, though.
